Sparks Competitive Junior Olympic Team (Level 2 – 10)

Sparks is our Junior Olympic Competitive gymnastics team. Following the USAG guidelines, coaches and athletes train the full year to compete at their current level. As part of Texas’ District 1, competition meets are held throughout the West Texas area. (Lubbock, Odessa, Amarillo, San Angelo, etc.) Depending on the athlete’s level, these girls practice anywhere from 8 to 15 hours per week, with the option of joining our Extended Hours program which puts them at 20 hours per week.

This is an invitation only team. Girls will be moved up from our Sparklers and Diamonds program. Anyone with previous gymnastics competitive experience should call the gym and set up and Evaluation Week where Team Coaches can assess the athlete and place her in the appropriate level according to our requirements.

Sapphires Competitive Team (Ages 10 & up)

This is a recreational based competitive team for girls looking to have fun while training and competing. The financial commitment is lower, as well as the time spent in the gym. These girls will focus on preparing themselves for competition according to the USAG JO Compulsory program. They train 6 hours a week, and compete locally and in Southern New Mexico as far as Albuquerque, NM.

This is an invitation only team. Anyone interested in joining Sapphires should inquire at the desk or with their coach to have their child evaluated.
